You are on my screen is a participatory Zoom performance. In this guided digital experience up to fourteen audience members go through different exercises of being together through a distance. It is about seeing and being seen by others, meeting and holding each other without coming together live.
The performance aims to twist Zoom, one of the most commonly used tools for distanced communication and designed for efficiency and exactitude and brings it to a place of friendly flirting between strangers.
Interaction and tasks replace the committed attention a theatre/performance audience otherwise would step into by being physically present in the room where the performance takes place. You are on my screen acknowledges the distance between the audience and asks for a positioning towards it.
